Responsibilities

  • You enthusiastically join our origination activities and develop sophisticated pitch presentations as well as tailor-made multi-product solutions for our corporate clients.
  • Analysing complex financial information becomes your second nature: you prepare well-founded market and competition analyses, review information memoranda and term sheets, and make a measurable contribution to winning new mandates with your proposals.
  • You gain a deep understanding of the TMT and Healthcare sectors, monitor valuation levels, market and competitive dynamics, and keep track of macroeconomic developments. Through high-quality sector analyses, peer-group and trading benchmarks, valuation summaries, as well as management and board presentations, you support us in strategic client dialogues.
  • Working closely with our Senior Relationship Management, you participate in live transactions, contribute to the expansion of long-term client relationships, and identify new business opportunities – from pitchbooks and RfPs to due diligence documentation.
  • This also involves coordinating with internal product and coverage teams (including Corporate Finance, Lending, DCM/LCM, Financial Markets, Transaction Services, and Risk) as well as contributing to internal credit and investment committee processes.
  • Furthermore you support transactions throughout their entire lifecycle, assist in their structuring and evaluation.
  • In collaboration with the transaction management team, you assist in structuring and evaluating complex financing transactions and contribute to internal credit and investment committee processes.
  • In short: you take responsibility quickly, maintain a strong focus on data quality, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements, engage in beyond-banking initiatives and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Law, or a comparable field
  • Initial practical experience in Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, and/or Structured Finance
  • Ideally, international experience and familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, think-cell)
  • Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of economic and legal interrelations
  • Solid expertise in analysing financial statements, cash flow models, due diligence reports, and market analyses
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and team spirit
  • The ability to look outside the box and develop sustainable solutions
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
