Duration: 6–12 Months (Flexible)

We are seeking a motivated Programming Intern to support the development of internal applications, analytical tooling, and reporting solutions used across our energy trading business. This role offers hands-on exposure to real commercial and operational workflows within European energy markets. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, analysts, and developers to build practical solutions that directly support trading and business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of internal business applications and tooling
  • Assist with reporting, dashboards, and analytical data solutions
  • Work with structured datasets and databases
  • Support  development in C#, .NET, Python, and SQL
  • Help improve automation and operational efficiency
  • Participate in cloud-based development initiatives
  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver     solutions
  • Assist in maintaining and improving existing systems and reports

Job requirements

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in software development, data, and business systems
  • Basic experience with C#, Python, SQL, or similar technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in energy trading or financial markets is advantageous
