This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

The Supply Chain & Production Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating inbound/outbound material flows and production scheduling for the Hamburg multi-oils refinery. The role ensures optimal supply chain performance, cost control, and high customer service standards by managing short-term planning horizons (1–4 weeks for supply, 1–7 days for production) and resolving operational bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and execute short-term supply and production plans, including sequencing for 14 production lines, inventory management, and cycle stock planning, including monitoring bottle necks and navigate solutions development
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during disruptions; manage communication and solution development.
  • Track KPIs (cost, complaints), identify gaps, and lead improvement projects to strengthen customer approach and margins.
  • Drive cost control by optimizing the network across multiple oil refineries, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Work experience in supply chain or production planning within a plant/ production environment.
  • Fluent English and German (daily work in both languages)
  • Practical knowledge of the SAP system
  • Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage change and ambiguity.
  • Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration in virtual teams.
  • High adaptability and accountability in dynamic environments.
  • Business acumen and priority setting.
