Become our:  Project Finance Sector & Specialised Lending Transaction Management Intern!

Within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), you will be attached to the Sector & Specialised Lending Transaction Management team, which is involved in structuring and implementing project financing solutions in the energy, telecommunications, media, technology and health sectors.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will assist the team in all stages of executing project finance transactions alongside
Transaction Managers and Senior Bankers. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team throughout the entire lifecycle of a Project Finance transaction.
  • Participating in structuring financing solutions.
  • Contributing to credit and risk analysis, including legal, technical, financial, environmental and
    social due diligence.
  • Performing financial analyses and building financial models (projections, debt modules,
    sensitivity results).
  • Preparing internal memos for committee review in collaboration with coverage, syndication and
    risk teams.
  • Reviewing documentation (HoT, Term Sheets, financial documentation).
  • Conducting client rating and opportunity pricing.
  • Monitoring market developments and identifying opportunities.
    This position offers great variety, both in the topics addressed and the stakeholders involved, within an
    agile, dynamic, and multicultural environment.

Job requirements

This internship will start in July 2026 for a duration of 6 months.

  • Bachelor’s  or  Master’s  degree  (university,  business  school,  or  engineering  school)  with  a
    specialisation in Banking, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
  • Comfortable in English, both written and spoken.
  • Recognised for your analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to synthesize information.
  • Methodical, rigorous, and possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA appreciated), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Curious, open-minded, proactive, and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Interest in the highly regulated banking sector and risk management.
  • Demonstrated  experience  in  financial  analysis  through  internships  or  personal/professional
    projects.
