Job description

As a Logistics Administrator, you will be a key member of our Supply Chain team, responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of barge operations across all our regions. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth logistics and facilitating collaboration between various internal teams and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of the terminal supply schedule as developed by the optimization teams, ensuring timely communication and flawless implementation.
  • Liaise daily with logistic service providers (LSPs) and terminals to inform them of load and discharge schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with traders regarding contract positions and send nominations to suppliers, ensuring that operations align with commercial expectations.
  • Manage the accurate processing of Bill of Ladings (B/Ls) and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) to ensure compliance and documentation consistency.
  • Monitor and ensure data consistency between JDE and Vista, initiating master data updates and corrections related to barge operations.
  • Align and regularly update ADN (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways) details to ensure regulatory compliance.

Job requirements

In order to fulfill the content of the job the ideal candidate has:

  • Educated to at least MBO level, ideally in a logistics discipline;
  • An excellent communicator, with strong language skills. Proficiency in English and Dutch is required;
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented, capable of managing complex logistics and data processing tasks with precision.
