As an Analyst in the Relationship & Portfolio Management team of Project Finance at Rabobank, you will manage a portfolio of European clients in renewable energy and infrastructure. You will assess sector and client developments, represent Project Finance inside and outside the bank, and foster cooperation with other departments to provide the best service to clients. The way in which we produce and consume energy needs to change. In addition, the European infrastructure needs to innovate and to be strengthened. That is why Rabobank invests in new ways of energy generation, transmission, and storage and in the broader infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

Making a difference

On a daily base, you will be effective by:

  • Managing your own portfolio of European clients, collaborating with colleagues on exposure increases and amendments.
  • Staying on top of sector and client developments and assessing their impact on your clients and the wider portfolio.
  • Representing Project Finance inside and outside the bank and encouraging co-operation with other departments to achieve the best service for our clients.

Top three responsibilities

  • Managing the credit review process by delivering high-quality credit applications, including analysis of financial performance, structure risks, ESG risks, and credit risk parameters.
  • Taking ownership of and managing your client portfolio, developing and maintaining strong relationships through regular client contact.
  • Performing market-driven risk assessments using financial models, price curves and production forecasts.

Job requirements

  • A master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Law or Business Administration and less than 2 years of work experience.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, basic knowledge of financing practices and affinity with numbers and writing.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English are essential, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong client focus, assertive, collaborator and take ownership.

  • Gross monthly salary between €3,314 and €4,733 (scale 07)
