This role is a great opportunity to support the front office across many products across the bank with covenant and compliance management. The candidate will have the opportunity to network with multiple groups including Core Lending, Project Finance, Leveraged Lending, Financial Advisory Services, Fund Finance, Mexico, and Canada. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about various products within the bank and better understand Credit Agreements as it relates to covenants and compliance.

As a WST Covenant Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for staying abreast of changes in transaction requirements, particularly in response to developments in the regulatory environment. By doing so, the team ensures that covenants remain compliant and aligned with the latest standards.

The WST Covenant Compliance Analyst will assist with monitoring and tracking documents and covenants as it relates to the credit agreements in our tracking system. They will raise alerts when a client is near or out of compliance and assist in risk mitigation by enhancing the awareness of the Front Office.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the new global way of working, lending structures, processes
  • Coordinate proper compliance to legal agreements through the covenant compliance system
  • Point of contact for audits related to covenant compliance
  • Prepare Ad hoc reports and participate in projects
  • Work closely with the Business Change and Risk Team
  • Perform middle office duties across the Wholesale Banking North America
  • Reach out to clients and agents banks as needed on delinquent documentation

Job requirements

To be considered for the Covenant and Compliance Analyst role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ year related experience
  • Experience with Covenants and Legal Agreements
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $76,000.00 - $125,000.00
