Job description

This role oversees the operations end to end from supplier to customer at national on an international level. We require a profile that is coordinates the export, follows the import operations until warehouses and manages the distribution to customers in Brazil. We value experience with Brazilian customs and authorities, international trade with emphasis in dairy or food products and knowledge of inland distribution networks and actors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with supplier and logistics service suppliers export operations.
  • Oversee import processes in Brazil and coordinate the arrival to the warehouse.
  • Manage the warehouse’s flow of the incoming and outcoming operations.
  • Seek a cost-efficient operation managing logistics service suppliers and reducing non-expected costs.
  • Comply with the agreed delivery schedule with Customers focusing on the On Time in Full goal
  • Report Operational Non-Conformities and ensure compliance with our standard procedures of loading, unloading, storage and handling dairy products.

Job requirements

  • Technical or university degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business Studies, or related fields (desirable but not mandatory)
  • Minimum of 3 years of export-import operations, preferably in Brazilian and LATAM markets
  • Excellent communication with colleagues across areas and stakeholders; Portuguese is a must, basic Spanish and English desirable
  • Knowledge about import processes in Brazil for dairy products and experience working with key actors such as Receita Federal, MAPA, and Customs Authorities
  • Experience with truck distribution, warehouse management, and coordinating logistics service suppliers
  • Insights about the fiscal system in Brazil
  • Organized and capable of adapting to different systems and modalities; knowledge of ERP systems (TOTVS preferred), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Stress-resistant with strong problem-solving capabilities; ability to multi-task and prioritize independently
