The Project Finance Summer Associate will have a unique opportunity to work with a growing Project Finance Americas team, responsible for structuring and executing prudent and profitable renewable energy project financing transactions. The PF Summer Associate will have exposure to a broad range of technologies (e.g. solar, wind, battery, energy efficiency, data centers, and fuel cells) as well as transaction structures (e.g. traditional project finance, equipment finance and portfolio financing). The PF Summer Associate will be expected to:

• Act as an essential deal team members in structuring, and executing renewable energy financing transactions
• Build relationships within the organization and industry stakeholders
• Gain and share expertise on various renewable energy technologies and financing structures

• Assist team members in pitching, generating, structuring, executing, and monitoring renewable energy financing transactions.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include:
    • Construct financial models for renewable energy projects and other project finance transactions
    • Review project documents, including Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Agreement, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Agreements
    • Review financing agreements
    • Review consultant reports
    • Draft internal transaction documents
    • Conduct research for independent project covering the renewable energy project finance industry
    • Assist portfolio team in monitoring loans, which includes risk analysis, expansions, refinancings, and restructuring

• Strong interest in the renewable energy sector
• At least one-year of work experience that involves financial modelling
• Be currently enrolled in a graduate program (expected graduation Spring 2027)
• Basic knowledge in project finance and key risk factors in project finance transactions
• Previous experiences in investment banking, investment research, or renewable energy project development is preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Salary Expectations
Target Hiring Range: $75.60/hour
