Job description

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

The Material Requirements Planner will plan, schedules and handle raw material needed for production. In this role, you will handle moderately complex material movement with purchasing, warehouse and production areas and handle to established raw material inventory target level.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in setting material requirements planning metrics targets.
  • Create and publish a material requirements plan based on the published master supply plan.
  • Provide necessary input to master planner for assigned product or location.
  • Maintain data relevant to material requirements planning activities including sourcing and replenishment, supplier, planning calendar, material and location data.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

MINIMUM

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

PREFERRED

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
