Job description

The Trade Compliance Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting the daily execution of cross-border trade activities within the Global Trade Operations Compliance (GTOC) team. Under close supervision, this role performs routine import and export transactions, ensures accurate data entry and document maintenance, and supports compliance with global and local customs requirements and supports reporting requests. The role contributes to continuous improvement efforts and helps maintain compliant and efficient trade flows across the EMEA region.

*This position offers the possibility to work remotely 2–3 days per week after the implementation period.

Responsibilities

  • Execute routine global trade and compliance operations activities, including import and export transactions, to support business continuity and regulatory compliance.
  • Validate and process transactional data, ensuring all required documents (invoices, preferential origin documentation, shipping documents, customs declarations, licenses, cross-border instructions) are accurate, complete, and aligned with legal and internal requirements.
  • Support of reporting request, Power BI dashboards and data analytics.
  • Maintain organized and compliant archiving of customs and trade documentation according to corporate and regulatory retention guidelines.
  • Support internal and external audits of trade transactions by preparing documentation and ensuring adherence to customs regulations, trade agreements, and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customs brokers to support compliant and timely cross-border movements.
  • Perform basic analysis of trade-related KPIs and contribute insights to improve process effectiveness within the designated region.
  • Support the execution of internal compliance projects and continuous improvement initiatives within GTOC.

Job requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customs and/or supply chain, including internships or similar hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in Power BI with the ability to build and customize dashboards and reports.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work with structured processes.


Preferred qualifications

  • Supply chain experience
  • Experience working in a multinational environment, ideally within a matrix organization.
  • Basic knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance concepts.
  • Experience with import/export documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP-GTS  experience is an advantage).
