In January 2017, COUNT Energy Trading was founded in Rotterdam, with the goal of supplying service and convenience, and venturing in the realms of sustainability in the petrochemical industry. In December 2020, they started expanding internationally with an office in Switzerland. Next, they set foot in the United States of America, and not long after in March 2021, COUNT entered the distribution market. In December 2021, they entered the gas and power business and later also expanded to Germany. Lastly, in September 2022, they started sailing their first barge, transporting benzene in the ARA region.
COUNT aims to be an agent of change in the transition to a sustainable industry. By committing to the advancement of recycling technologies and bio-alternatives, they are making it easier and more profitable for businesses and the supply chain in the sector to become more environmentally sustainable.
